How to Create an Automatic Order on CJ Dropshipping

Create Date: 2020-04-07 03:07:16

It’s a step by step tutorial of how to create an automatic dropshipping order on app.cjdropshipping.com for new registers. There are four major steps to create an automatic dropshipping order: Store Authorization, Product Searching / Sourcing, Product Listing / Connection, Add to cart, Confirm & Pay

Store Authorization

After creating your CJ account, sign in with your user name and password. The first step is to authorize your stores to CJ App, it’s the precondition to list or connect our products to your stores and generate synchronous dropshipping orders.

Firstly, find Authorization on the top navigation bar, click and go to the next page. On the left navigation bar, you can see the 7 types of stores we currently support, they are Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, Shipstation, Amazon, Lazada, and Shopee, also API is for personal website.

For each store type, we have general and detailed authorization steps on each page. Let me demonstrate how to authorize, if you have a Woocommerce store, go to the Woocommerce page, hit Add Stores, then you can see detailed instructions on how to authorize your store step by step, just follow the steps to complete the authorization.

If your stores are not in the list of the 7 types, for example, stores from Etsy / Clickfunnel or personal website, you can authorize your stores through our API keys, the detailed flow is in the API document.

Product Searching / Sourcing

After the store authorization completed, the next step is to find products you want to sell. There are three ways to hunt for products.

No.1, Browse on our website. You can look for products by categories or sections on the homepage. Also, you can seek products by warehouses, and find POD products on the top navigation bar.

No.2, Search the keywords or SKU number on the searching bar.

The SKU number is the identification number of a product, you may get it from your agent or our product push and recommendation videos. Once you find the product you want, you can list it to your store right away or add to the queue or wishlist for processing later.

No.3, Search by image. If you have images for a specific product, you can search the product by hitting the camera icon on the right of the searching bar to upload a product image. It’s an efficient and accurate way to find products you want on CJ App.

If you failed in finding specific products on CJ App, there comes another competitive service of CJ Dropshipping - sourcing products. Find Sourcing on the top navigation bar, hit to go to the sourcing page, click the icon on the top right corner to post a sourcing request. You can post an existed product from your store, or upload image and details for an individual product. Then our sourcing team will source for the best supplier and upload the item on CJ App, the sourcing process usually will be done in 48 hours, but it may take longer time during peak season, you can check the status on the dashboard.

Product Listing / Connection

Product listing or connection is a movement to create a connection between the products on CJ App and your stores, so the orders put to your store will be synchronized to the CJ system, then CJ will handle the orders for you.

How to list a product?

If you find a product you want to sell, and the product is not in your store, you can list it to your store directly: choose a store, select a category (you can add new if you don’t have), select the variants, and set your price. Then you can set the shipping method and the destination country. Hit List It Now, the product will be listed to your store successfully. There's another way-Edit before listing, you can edit the details before listing, you can change the product title, add descriptions, replace images, and rename each variant.

How to connect a product?

If a product has been in your store, and you want to connect it to CJ App, you can create a connection. Click to go to My CJ page from the top navigation bar, go to the page of Products, you will find Add Automatic Connection on the top right corner. Hit the icon, select the store and sync the store first, find and pin the product you want to connect from your store, find the same product on CJ App by searching image or click match, then the product will show on the right column. Let’s assume you have found the product by searching or sourcing, paste the SKU number on the searching bar, connect the product and confirm, then the product will be connected successfully.

Let’s back to the Connection page, we can find an option of Add Sourcing Connection beside Add Automatic Connection, it’s for connecting your sourcing products to your store products quickly. Your sourcing products which have been sourced successfully will show on the left, products from your stores are on the right, the connect process is the same as adding an automatic connection.

Add to cart & Pay

When you finish store authorization and product connection, orders on these products from your store will be pulled into your CJ account automatically. Find those orders from DropShipping Center on your dashboard of My CJ, select the orders you want us to deal with and add them to cart. Confirm your selected orders and make a payment on the page of Dropshipping Orders on the left navigation bar, then we will take care of everything afterward.

Let’s back to the Imported Orders, there is a section of Incomplete Orders and a section of Store Orders. What are these orders? Here may be the situation, your store receives an order, but it is not shown on the Process Required section, it will probably go to the Incomplete Orders or Store Orders. Why it happens and how to avoid it? Check the details of your order, if one or some products in the order are not connected to CJ App successfully, the order will go to the Incomplete Orders; if all of the products in the order are not connected to CJ App, then the order will go to the Store Orders. Connect the products to CJ App, back to the Process Required and hit Start to Sync Latest Orders, the orders will be transferred to the Process Required, and then you can continue the processing-Add to cart, confirm and pay.
